Much like Elder Scrolls, Fallout is one of those games series that’s transcended from mere anticipation to obsessiveness. But it’s been quite a long time since the last in the series, Fallout 3, came out. Seven (?!) years, in fact. There’s been speculation for a while that a new Fallout game was on the way, and excitement reached fever pitch a couple of years ago when someone decided to run a very elaborate hoax teasing the game.
Now Bethesda Softworks, the publisher behind both Elder Scrolls and Fallout, have flicked the switch on a teaser page showing a countdown to… something? Whatever happens, it’s pretty much a given that being an RPG from Bethesda, this will be awesomely fun, and there will be some hilarious mods on PC.
